REC Limited has announced a total of 74 vacancies for various managerial and officer positions across multiple disciplines in its 2024 recruitment drive. 


Vacancies:


Deputy General Manager: 2 positions

General Manager: 3 positions

Chief Manager: 4 positions

Manager: 5 positions

Deputy Manager: 15 positions

Assistant Manager: 9 positions

Officer: 36 positions


Educational Qualifications:


1.Candidates applying for engineering roles must have a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related fields. A M.Tech degree is preferred for senior positions.


2.For finance roles, a CA, CMA, or an MBA in Finance from a recognized institution is required.


3.Human Resources positions require an MBA or PGDM in HR or Personnel Management, with additional knowledge of labor laws being advantageous.


4.Information Technology roles need a B.Tech in IT or Computer Science, with advanced certifications as a bonus.


5.Legal roles require an LLB, while an LLM is preferred for senior positions.


6.CSR positions require a Master’s in social work or Rural Development.


7.Fire safety roles need a Degree or Diploma in Fire Engineering.


8.Rajbhasha Officer roles require a Master’s in Hindi, with English as a compulsory subject at the undergraduate level


Salary Details:


1.The salary for the General Manager roles, such as in Engineering and Corporate Communication, ranges from ₹1,20,000 to ₹2,80,000 per month.


2.For the Deputy General Manager, the monthly pay scale is ₹1,00,000 to ₹2,60,000.


3.Chief Managers are entitled to a salary ranging from ₹90,000 to ₹2,40,000 per month.


4.The Manager roles offer a pay range of ₹80,000 to ₹2,20,000 per month.


5.The salary for Deputy Managers is between ₹70,000 and ₹2,00,000 per month.


6.Assistant Managers earn a monthly salary of ₹60,000 to ₹1,80,000.


The Officer positions have a pay scale of ₹50,000 to ₹1,60,000 per month.


Additionally, employees receive benefits such as allowances, performance-based incentives, medical coverage, and pension contributions as per REC policies.


Selection Process:


1.Written Test: A written examination may be conducted to assess technical knowledge and skills, depending on the role.


2.Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed to evaluate professional abilities and role suitability.


3.Document Verification: Selected candidates will undergo verification of educational and experience documents.


4.Final Selection: Candidates will be selected based on performance in the written test (if applicable) and interview.


5.Medical Examination: A medical fitness test may be required for selected candidates

Examination Fees:


Candidates applying for the positions must pay a fee of ₹1,000 if they belong to the General or OBC category.

However, candidates from the SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen/Internal categories are exempt from paying the fee. The fee can be paid via online payment methods during the application process
