The government of Tamil Nadu has published a notification for filling up the vacancies in more than 3,000 fair price shops in 38 districts of Tamil Nadu.And while the selection process was done through the selection process, the employees are now being selected through the interview.

A notification has been issued to fill the posts of salesman and packer in fair price shops under the control of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Government of Tamil Nadu. In order to fill up the large number of vacant posts in 38 districts, the selection is done through interview instead of written test.

Applications are invited for the post of Salesman and Accountant in Fair Price Shops operating under Cooperative Societies.
Vacancies
There are more than 3,000 vacancies in various types of fair price stores across 38 districts in Tamil Nadu.
Educational qualification
10th and 12th passed for the post of Salesperson in Fair Price Shops and Cuddalore. Also for salesman post 12th pass. Next, for the post of packer, you must have passed 10th standard.
Primary educational qualification is stated as 10th standard and 12th standard educational pass. But all those who completed 10th standard can apply for this job.
Age limit
The maximum age limit for working in this fair price shop is General Category, Backward Class (bc), Most Backward Class (mbc),Backward Class, Muslim (bcm), Adi Dravidian Tribes and other categories as per age limit no age limit specified.
Also, the age limit is 50 years for ex-servicemen and 42 years for differently-abled persons.
Salary
In all the fair price shops in our Tamil Nadu, the position of salesman and cashier is initially given a monthly salary of 6250 rupees and after one year the salary is increased to 8,250 and the monthly salary is given up to 29 thousand.
Method of selection
Candidates suitable for the post of Salesman and Learner should be 10th and 12th pass and should be able to read and write in Tamil based on the marks of class.
10th and 12th interview will be conducted only those who will score high marks in both the marks test and interview will be appointed in their respective district.
