Vacancy Details

BRO Various Trade has announced 466 vacancies for various posts.The major roles include Draughtsman, Drivers, Operators, Supervisor (Administration), Turner, and Machinist, among others, with the majority being Driver roles.

Educational Qualification

The required qualifications vary based on the post:

Draughtsman: 

10+2 with Science and ITI certification in Draughtsmanship (Civil).

Supervisor (Administration): 

A graduate degree with a National Cadet Corps (NCC) 'B' Certificate.

Turner/Machinist: 

10th pass with ITI/NTC/NAC in the relevant trade.

Drivers/Operators:

10th pass certificate along with a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license.

Ensure you meet the specific educational requirements before applying.

Age Limit

Minimum age for all posts is 18 years. However, the upper age limit varies:

• For Turner, the maximum age is 25 years.
• For other positions, candidates must not exceed 27 years.

Age relaxation will be given as per government norms under reservation clause.

Selection Process

The selection process will include multiple stages to ensure fairness and merit:

Written Examination:

The exam will consist of objective-type questions relevant to the position.

• Total Marks: 100 Marks
• Time Duration: 2 hours

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Skill Test or Driving Test:

These tests will evaluate the physical fitness, skills, or driving abilities required for specific posts.

Document Verification and Medical Examination:

Candidates who clear the above stages will undergo document verification and medical fitness tests.

Candidates must qualify in all stages to be considered for the final selection.

Important Dates

To avoid disqualification, applicants must adhere to the deadlines:

• Application Start Date: November 16, 2024

• Application End Date: December 30, 2024

For candidates from remote areas, the last date for submission is January 14, 2025.

Salary Details

The salary for selected candidates will be as per the BRO Pay Matrix Level defined by the government:

Pay Level ranges from Level 2 (₹19,900) to Level 4 (₹25,500) depending on the position.

Additional benefits like allowances, incentives, and promotions will be provided based on performance and designation.

Note: SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

• Include a self-addressed envelope with appropriate postage stamps for communication.

• Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered.
