High Court of Madras released a notification for technician to the post of Video Conference host (Technical) on Contract basis.

Vacancy Details

Eligible candidates can apply for the post of Video Conference Host (Technical). The total number of vacancies are available for the mentioned position is 30. This is a contract-based post, which means it will not be converted to a permanent post.

Salary Details

High Court of Madras offers a consolidated pay of 30,000 per month, it means the employee will receive 30,000 as their total monthly salary without any additional allowances.

Working hours will be from 10.00 AM to 05.45 PM.

Educational Qualification

Minimum educational qualification for the post of Video Conference Host (Technical) Candidates must have completed their bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or must have B.E in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI and Machine Learning.

Age limit

The candidates must not exceed the maximum age limit of 35 years. They must be born on or after 22.11.1989.

Important Dates

Notification released on 22nd November 2024 and the last date for submission of online application is 23rd December 2024. The last date for payment through bank is 24th December 2024.Date and time of the examination will be announced later.

Nature of work 

• Assist with court proceedings through video conferencing/Hybrid Hearing.
• Employee should solve the network/system issues in the court halls.
• Must do any other work will be allotted by Registrar, Madras High Court.

Selection Procedure

The first level of selection process is written examination then the second level is certificate verification based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination.

The Shortlisted candidates will be called for final interview. After completion of the interview, the final selection will be based on the marks secured by the candidates in the written examination and the final interview.

Examination Fees

All category of the candidates should pay the examination fee of 600 and once the payment was paid, the fee will not be refunded.

Scheme of Examination

Written examination is separated into two parts. The first part is Computer Knowledge, and the second part is General Knowledge. The number of questions asked in the first part is 50, and in the second part is 10.

The total time duration of the written examination is one hour and 30 minutes.2 marks for each question and 0.25 negative mark for each wrong answer.

The examination will be of the objective type, with multiple-choice questions.

Examination Centres

The Madras High Court will decide the location, where the written examination will be held.

Place of Posting 

Principal Seat, Madras High Court or Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai. Selected candidates may be transferred from Principal Bench to Madurai Bench of High Court and vice versa.
